ENVIRONMENT
I am leading a way of running the business and my hobby in the eco-friendly way
It is my Corporate Social Responsibility to protect the environment.
CAMERA
By using the digital camera i am avoiding the need of various chemicals as only a fraction of the pictures are processed to the paper.
POSTPROCESSING
Postprocessing is done nowadays in this modern era in the digital way where the electricity is essential.
Computer - I am using the Apple NoteBooks which are not only low electricity consumers bud also they are made from basic to be green.
Monitors - Using the old CRT should be a taboo now. Modern LCDs without mercury and arsen will give you: saved energy, more space, no radiation etc.
OFFICE - REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE
Light bulbs - Energy saving light bulbs is one of the easiest ways of reducing the power demand, and the initial cost is no more an issue nowadays.
Switch Off - By turning of the equipment which is currently not in use, you can save a lot of energy.
Batteries - Stop using Alkalines! They are a major source of pollutants. Instead stick with the latest rechargeable baterries.
Printing - Trying to maintain the paperless office is the best choice but, if there is no other way use the recycled paper and you know what?
The best part of it is that paper has two sides, so just turn it over and use it! And in addition the cartridges can be recycled also.
TRANSPORTATION
Public Transport - Use the Public transport whenever possible.
For the journeys where the public transport is not suitable I am planning in the future to obtain an Electromobile
CONCLUSION
So these were just my 2 cents in this global issue but YOU have to start from yourself
